In Brief: By downloading or using Shillak, you agree to these terms. Shillak helps families manage finances together. Premium features are available via auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store.
By installing or using Shillak ("the App"), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
Shillak grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and these Terms of Use.
Current prices are shown on the in-app paywall before you purchase. Prices are set in your local currency by Apple and may vary by region.
You can cancel at any time by opening the App's Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription, or by going to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your Apple device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by law.
Apple will notify you of any price increase. You must agree to the new price before your subscription renews at the new rate; otherwise your subscription will not renew.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Phone-based authentication is handled by Firebase.
Shillak uses Plaid to link your bank accounts. By linking an account, you authorize Plaid and Shillak to access your account information as described in our Privacy Policy. Your bank login credentials are handled entirely by Plaid and are never stored by Shillak.
When you join a household, linked account balances and transfer requests are visible to all members of that household. You are responsible for who you invite. Household owners may remove members at any time.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. Shillak is a personal finance tool and does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice. Balances shown are based on data provided by Plaid and may not always reflect real-time bank state.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shillak and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are between you and the operator of Shillak, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
